Welcome to McCaysville!

McCaysville, Ga., a small town in Fannin County, sits along the Tennessee-Georgia state line. Visitors can actually have one foot in Georgia and one foot in Tennessee when they cross the Blue Line marking the place where the states meet. The Blue Ridge Scenic Railway has increased tourism in the area, and today Toccoa-Ocoee Street is lined with antique and specialty shops, art galleries and eateries.

McCaysville is a charming mountain town located right on the Georgia, Tennessee State line adjacent to Copperhill, Tennessee, its twin city. The Blue Ridge Scenic Railway brings 65,000 passengers a year to the town of McCaysville where they shop, have lunch and explore the town. The GA/Tenn line aka "The Blue Line" is actually painted through the center of town! You can have your picture taken with one foot in each state. The Toccoa River flows through the center of town passing under two bridges, and changes names to the Ocoee River as it crosses the state line.
