On behalf of the City of McCaysville, I want to thank the McCaysville Police Department, our City Hall employees, our city workers, and the entire community for the incredible support shown following the recent incident involving Captain Brantley Worley. Yesterday, our community came together to welcome him home after his release from the hospital, and the outpouring of prayers, encouragement, and kindness has been truly inspiring.
This moment reflects the strength of McCaysville — neighbor helping neighbor and a community that stands united. Let us continue to keep Captain Worley and his family in our thoughts and prayers as his recovery continues.
