On behalf of the Mayor and City Council, we want to extend our heartfelt thanks to everyone who helped make this year’s Independence Day celebration in McCaysville such a safe, smooth, and successful event.
A special thank you goes out to our City Hall employees, the McCaysville Police Department, city work crews, city park workers, and the Water Department. Your teamwork, dedication, and long hours ensured that everything—from public safety and traffic control to setup, cleanup, coordination, infrastructure, and park maintenance—was handled with care and professionalism. We’re truly grateful for all you do behind the scenes and out in the community.
